Into the wild
Some observations regarding driving in India:
and breakfast
we are on the road to Jodhphur, Rajahstan, land of flowing alcohol. The last section of driving is along a goat tack but then we arrive at the village of Chanod and are greeted like Maharajahs.
The lodgings are run by the descendants of the local family and is a sort of converted palace.
Lunch is sumptuous
and later we have a cooking lesson
and later we have drinks(WHISKY!),
entertainment
and more to eat.
- traffic lights are purely ornamental
- driving on the left is optional
- toot your horn at every opportunity
- give way to all vehicles larger than you
- cows always have right of way
