We leave our palatial digs for a walk among the pheasants of Chanoud.

The colourful locals and children are very welcoming and insist on being photographed. Everybody seems to be very happy, though we feel like voyeurs at times.

















Rajahstan in the middle of a severe drought and no crops have been planted and all the waterways are empty.
In the late afternoon we go on a jeep excursion where we meet up with local, colourful shepherd,

see wildlifes





and drink tea looking over the salt flats at sunset.




All very jolly!
